Prior to training as a counsellor, I have had the pleasure of working in a variety of settings relating to care, guidance and listening. These have included residential care work, pastoral support, education, youth work and befriending services.
I am particularly interested in working with our shadows, with gender, the transpersonal, the creative and imagined. I also have some more specific experience in working with men and boys, younger people, and with neuro-diverse individuals.
My practice is held from both body-positive and sex-positive perspectives.
In my wider life, I enjoy music, cooking, being outdoors. I enjoy laughing and transforming imagination into reality- however silly.
I undertake regular professional supervision of my work, and closely observe the NCS ethical framework.
